Americana Restaurants is one of the largest restaurant operators in the Middle East and North Africa, running quick service and casual dining brands under franchise across the region. The business dates to 1964 in Kuwait and today operates through a dual listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Saudi Exchange.
The company operates thousands of outlets across markets including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Egypt, Kazakhstan and other countries in the region. Its portfolio includes KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee's, Krispy Kreme, TGI Fridays, Costa Coffee and Baskin Robbins, alongside its own brands.
Because it holds long term franchise rights rather than owning the brands, its work is concentrated in execution: site selection, store development, kitchen operations, food safety, staffing at very large scale, and the supply chain that keeps ingredients consistent across countries with different import rules and climates. The company operates its own food processing and distribution facilities to support that.
Delivery and digital ordering form a substantial share of sales in several of its markets, which has shifted store formats and kitchen design toward fulfilment as well as dine in.
Roles cover restaurant operations and management, supply chain, food technology and quality, property and development, marketing, technology and corporate functions.
